Bike Miami Returns

The runaway hit of the season returns today to the streets of Downtown Miami - Bike Miami Days are back! The city streets will be closed to cars so families can enjoy some FREE outdoor fun from 9am-2:30pm. When we say free, we mean free live music, free bike rentals, free yoga, free kid’s corner, free giveaways and even a chance to meet Tim Hardaway!

There’s no set course, but streets from Mary Brickell Village to the Bayfront Park will clearly be barricaded by the City of Miami so you and your friends can pedal away. Miami’s favorite bands like Suenalo, Afrobeta, Elastic Bond and Jazilla will perform and then thirsty fans can retire to Tobacco Road for a refreshing after party.

Streets set to close today include East Flagler Street, SE First Avenue to 4th Street, and South Miami Avenue from the bridge through 10th Street at Mary Brickell Village. As an added incentive, parking is available at the Mary Brickell Village Mall for $3 all day. Mayor Manny Diaz will be on hand for a rally in Bayfront Park at 10am right before the yoga class.

A map of the Miami streets closed from 9am-2:30pm is available at www.bike-miami.com.
