STK Miami’s tagline: “…not your daddy’s steakhouse” is your first hint that things might be a little different at this top-tier establishment.
The restaurant is a voluminous 2-story space with a DJ lounge, bistro dining area and second level bar. A catwalk across the back bar is reminiscent of the Fontainebleau’s “Stairway to Nowhere,” as it allows guests to be the center of attention for a brief moment as they proceed up to the mezzanine level.
Upstairs, a second dining room complete with a bar and private dining space overlooks the main area, allowing guests to discreetly observe the Miami social scene or be the center of it — whichever they choose.
Chef Todd Mark Miller made his debut with The ONE Group as Executive Chef at STK New York after spending fifteen years working alongside some of the greatest chefs in the world. At STK New York, Chef Miller created an all-American steakhouse menu, reinterpreted for the modern palate.
While STK’s menu naturally goes heavy on the beef, the restaurant is actually a fusion of traditional steakhouse fare with a greenmarket menu. In addition to a variety of steakhouse staples, Chef Miller’s menu also offers a delectable array of salads, seafood, and vegetarian items. Miami inspired selections include Seared Big Eye Tuna, with roasted pineapple, habanero chili pepper and congri basmati rice, and Pork Mojo Cazuela, with citrus chili maduros and yuca. There’s something for everyone here, including lamb and seafood selections.
The ONE Group is also opening the second iteration of their celebrity studded Los Angeles lounge, Coco de Ville, in the space adjacent to the restaurant on the ground floor of the Perry South Beach Hotel. The 2,000 sq ft high-end lounge will also have a DJ lounge, second level VIP bar, and promises to be the “ultimate nightlife experience.”
