Robin Williams Tours Miami

Fans of the multi-faceted comedian who plays such lovable characters as Teddy Roosevelt in “Night at the Museum” and voices animated characters Ramon/ Lovelace in “Happy Feet” can meet Robin Williams next week when he brings his Weapons of Self-Destruction Tour to the Hard Rock Live October 21 and 22, 2009. TicketMaster has announced premium seating packages for special fans who want to sit in the front rows for the upcoming shows and meet the funny man backstage.

Hard Rock Live is an intimate venue in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood Florida where interested guests can still see their favorite bands and comedians up close and personal. Williams will play two shows Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8pm and do a meet and greet with fans that includes a photo opportunity, signed autographs, a souvenir laminated backstage pass and a tour t-shirt to commemorate the night.

Williams was originally scheduled to perform in South Florida in March of this year but postponed the gig until October when he learned he needed aortic valve replacement surgery. He has performed his one-man show on Broadway, on HBO and most recently appeared in the Disney movies “Wedding Banned” and “Old Dogs” with John Travolta.
