Recently transplanted in South Beach from their incredibly popular location in Pine Crest, Grazie has already won the hearts of Miami Beach diners. Despite their precarious location (businesses on that block don’t tend to last very long!), Grazie seems to be doing well, packing the house on the weekends thanks largely to their contemporary Italian menu and warm sense of hospitality.
It is the sense of hospitality alone that the owners want to stress: Despite the white-linen service, diners will feel at home from the moment they step into the doors where they are greeted by owners Moshe Petel and Spurgeon Solomon.
In a city where there is an Italian restaurant on every corner, even if the service is outstanding, the cuisine has to be able to stand the test of time. Luckily for Grazie, thanks to Executive Chef Felix Pavon, the cuisine is outstanding. Pavon’s interpretations of classic Italian dishes such as Penne alla Vodka and Scaloppine alla Milanese make South Beach diners forget there are other Italian choices out there.
